by Daniel K. Eng

Last week, I gave a talk for an undergraduate course, Introduction to the New Testament, at The King’s College, New York City, per the invitation of my friend Benjamin G. White.

In the lecture, I offered an overview of the epistle of James that focused on two elements: (1) The setup of the content of the entire epistle in Chapter One, and (2) the author’s description of justification through the interaction between faith and deeds.

The video is below, and the handout can be downloaded here.

I look forward to your comments and questions!

A wonderful lecture and interaction with the students. Now I can go back and read James with a new perspective. Loved to be able to load down the Lecture notes and I could make notes. May we have more of Daniel Eng lectures?
