Johnny Cisneros, Director of Curriculum and Instructional Design, is the creator of Logos Mobile Education. He earned a Master of Christian Studies degree in Biblical Languages from Regent College in Vancouver, BC. He is currently working on a PhD in E-Research and Technology Enhanced Learning.
Dr. David deSilva is Trustees’ Distinguished Professor of New Testament and Greek at Ashland Theological Seminary in Ohio, where he has taught since 1995. He has written over twenty books in the areas of New Testament and Second Temple Judaism, including Unholy Allegiances: Heeding Revelation’s Warning, Seeing Things John’s Way: The Rhetoric of the Book of Revelation, An Introduction to the New Testament: Contexts, Methods & Ministry Formation, and Introducing the Apocrypha. He is ordained in the Florida Conference of the United Methodist Church and serves as director of music and organist at Christ United Methodist Church in Ashland. He and his wife, Donna Jean, have three teenage sons.
Dr. Michael Heiser is a Scholar-in-Residence for Faithlife Corporation, the makers of Logos Bible Software. He produces academic content and works with Logos Mobile Education. He does translation work in roughly a dozen ancient languages, including Biblical Hebrew, Greek, Aramaic, Egyptian gieroglyphs, and Ugaritic cuneiform. Dr. Heiser also specializes in Israelite religion (especially Israel’s divine council), Jewish binitarianism, textual criticism, Second Temple Judaism, and more. He maintains an active ministry to people whose worldview is molded by the occult, paranormal, or esoteric beliefs. As a Christian scholar, Dr. Heiser seeks to fill gaps where people have difficult-to-answer questions regarding difficult passages or experiences.
