Karen Langton on “What makes a good Biblical Scholar or Theologian?”

Always be willing to see your own weaknesses and strengths and know when to seek help.

Always be willing, hoping, to have your argument proved false, but don’t give up.

Reconsider, redesign, and rediscover.

  • Thank you Karen, for the deep insight, it is very encouraging in light of the sometimes elitists attitude in academia. I find it interesting and saddening that in a body of “believers” such positions of superiority exists and the manner in which encouragement and positive feedback is lacking.
