Didaktikos: Journal of Theological Studies, a peer-reviewed journal published by Lexham Press, is seeking a part-time assistant editor.

This is a freelance position (working remotely) that involves roughly 20–25 hours of editorial work per issue (five issues per year). Stipend amount depends on experience.

The assistant editor will work directly with the editor and managing editor to plan content, establish connections with contributors, and perform general editing duties. The editor of Didaktikos is Douglas Estes; editorial board members include Karen H. Jobes, E. Randolph Richards, Fred Sanders, Beth M. Stovell, and Douglas A. Sweeney.

Candidates must hold an earned PhD or equivalent and work at an accredited institution as a professor of biblical studies, theology, church history, Christian ministry, or a related field. Other requirements include editing experience and a commitment to constructive academic discourse in service to the church.

For candidates attending ETS, IBR, and AAR/SBL conferences in Denver, brief interviews will be held Nov 15–17, 2018. To apply, send a brief cover letter and CV to douglas@didaktikosjournal.com and david@didaktikosjournal.com.
