  • Hi, I have an older version of Logos, with lots of resources, but I have not upgraded since retiring, should I install this or not?

    • Hi Tim, great question. Your best bet is to call Customer Service to ensure your situation is fully addressed, and that all your resources can be carried over. You can find their contact information here: https://www.logos.com/contact

  • I’m interested in Logos 8 but it took me a LONG time to get Logos 6 and 7 to work. My computer has only a bit of memory left. Can I please get the specs on Logos 8 before considering trying to download it? What is the file size? And the required free memory, please?

    • Hi Big Oby, required memory is different for every account, based on what you already own. However, Logos 8’s new Cloud Resources feature means that it might even take less space, since you can choose to remove resources that you don’t frequently use. This is currently in beta, and is planned to be released to all users soon. Hope that helps!

  • I have a purchased copy of Logos 7 and the free copy of Logos 8. Do I get any additional resources with Academic 8 Basic, and do I get to keep Academic 8 Basic permanently?

    • Hi Tim, thanks for your question. The simple answer to your question is, yes.

    • Hi Roberto, there is a link in the post to a full description of the included resources.

      • Any link I find takes you straight to an order form. Cannot locate list of resources.

        • Hi Ann, if you scroll down the page, you will see the resources listed below the form. Hope that helps.

  • How can I get a download of the list of the books in my library, so I can print off the list if I need to.

    Thanks

    • Hi Robert, are you referring to the list of books in Academic Basic, or a complete base package, or something else? Happy to help in whichever case.

  • Listened to the first 40 seconds of the first section of unit one of Craig Evans’ “The Reliability of New Testament Manuscripts” course. First off, I’m not sure this should be called a “course.” The total of the audio files is less than an hour long and there are no assignments like other mobile ed courses. My main problem though came around the 30 second mark when Craig was talking about the number of manuscripts. He said the majority of these “…predate the first printed Greek New Testament produced by Erasmus in 1516.” Hey everybody, Erasmus did not produce the first printed Greek New Testament, nor was it just a Greek New Testament. The first printed Greek New Testament was, like that of Erasmus, a diglot with Greek and Latin. The Complutensian Greek-Latin New Testament was printed in 1514, two years before Erasmus published his first edition.

Does it matter? Maybe not. But I think Christian scholarship deserves better.

  • Some questions:

If I am not an “academic”, can I get this package?

Since i am already a Logos owner/user, will this integrate seamlessly with what I already have?

    • Hi Harry, I believe in the checkout process you’ll need to provide an email associated with your institution/school. As a current Logos owner/user, you might just end up with a few additional resources in your library.

  • How does Logos Academic Basic mesh with the Logos 8 program that I already have?

    • Hi Harold, as a current Logos owner/user, you might just end up with a few additional resources in your library.

  • I really wanted to keep reading! I have learnt a lot of usefl tips,
thank you for passing on. Have you got a subscriber list that I can also register for?
