You either love Barth or you hate him. But whatever your view of his work (and life), he is a theological tour de force to be reckoned with, arguably the most prolific and creative theologian of the 20th century.
Logos is currently offering his entire Church Dogmatics for $75.
That’s an incredible price for such a massive and important resource, but add to that the fact that the Logos edition is fully tagged, hyperlinked, and integrated with the rest of your Logos library. You can’t even get that with the Online Karl Barth collection, and definitely not with a physical print copy.
Not sure how to begin reading Barth? We recently published an article on just that: Breaking Barth: Five Tips from the Experts.
Happy reading (of all 31 volumes).
The Editor
PostBarthian says: “The digital edition provides translations of the original Greek and Latin quotations throughout the Church Dogmatics (that are not included in the cheaper hard copies of the Church Dogmatics).” I have bought the Logos version but I cannot find the translations of the Greek and Latin. I know they are in the 2010 and following Study Edition, 31 vols. paperback version, but Logos apparently gives the old edition found in the black volumes. Am I wrong?
I finally found that the Logos version does translate the Greek and Latin quotations when you place the cursor over the asterisk following the quote. Sorry I did not catch this to begin with but I am still learning to navigate the document.
Is this offer still available and if so can I have a link please? Thanks
Hi Rosalene, sorry but this offer has passed. But Logos is always making new offers available on great resources every month, so keep checking back in.
